Thanksgiving Assistance

On Thanksgiving day, November 28th, we will once again plan to reach over 1,200 people in need by providing a free full Thanksgiving meal..  Volunteers spend two full days prior cooking and preparing the holiday feast that will be enjoyed by over 100 guests in attendance at The Salvation Army and  an additional 1,100 meals being delivered to area residents and homeless shelters throughout the county:  all thanks to the generosity and the hard work of an "army" of volunteers.  Donations of turkeys and pies are welcome!

Christmas Assistance

The Salvation Army will provide local low-income families and individuals with holiday assistance.  With the generosity of individuals and area businesses, enough toys and donations will be collected to distribute to registered families this holiday season..

Volunteer Opportunities

There are always volunteer opportunities available at Montclair Citadel, no more so than through the Christmas/New Year Season.  Bellringers are needed at our Kettle collection sites in front of area stores - even one hour of time will help us help others this season.  Please call (973)744-3312 ext 654 to register.
